Miss Soledad Bouza ___ Exercise 6   

Dear Mary,

      Hope you are well, I haven't seen you since three months and I just miss you a lot! Such

long boring moments I´m “suffering” without you...Otherwise I´m happy ´cause you are coming soon.

I just finished my history homework; today in class I was very distractive and very lazy. Later we receive our math exams, I was expecting a higher mark but I was wrong! Tomorrow I’m having a party, I will go with Anne and Sophie, I’m sure we will enjoy it a lot. But I´m still concerned, very worried just ´cause my PLATONIC LOVE, or as you say “my crush” doesn´t pay attention to me!  It´s really irritating.

But now, let’s talk about you! How are you going, on School, for example?   I know you´ve got a ten on the geography exam... I´m convinced you are doing well!   The other day you told me about your current hobbies on Australia, like sunbathing and playing volleyball. I want to be with you on the beach! There are many boutiques or not? I can imagine the wonderful clothes you are wearing, (don´t forget bringing me a gift...JOKE).And the ORCHESTAS? I would love listening, just part of the beautiful music they play, GOD! You´re very lucky my friend.

REPORT: Sport Facilities

This report is written to analyze and depict the Newland´s School sports facilities. A big quantity of students agrees by discussing the main issues of the sport facilities.

The most convincing arguments in favour of the facilities of sport at Newlands School are:

·   There are very big toilets and sections to change clothes, maybe when students have got a match.

·   A shelter protects students from the rain and bad weather.

·   There are different and large sections that divide students in age and type of sport.

·    They practice, such as Rugby and Hockey.

·   Students have got many troughs around the field as to remove their thirst.

·   As there isn´t a big number of students in Newlands School, The Sport Field is quite big.

The most convincing arguments in favour of the weaknesses of sport at Newlands School are:

·        

    When there is bad weather or it rains student’s can´t continue doing or practicing sport, they just wait on their shelter until the climate change again.

·  When students finish doing sport the are sometimes hungry but they don´t have a kiosk.

·  There aren´t showers and they are needed to refresh students.

·  When students need to go to the toilet they have to run from corner to corner because there is only one bathroom.

In conclusion we can clearly see that, there are more limitations to correct and there aren´t many advantages for this issue. The fact is that students are not so happy about the sports facilities they have on their school.

         Dear Diary,

                            Today was a confusing and long day. got up at six o´clock as usual, I was extremely tired and the weather wasn’t that good! I couldn’t sleep comfortable ´cause I studied all night for the literature exam. The math teacher, the one who isn´t very kind, surprised us with an unexpected exam! I hope to pass this one, as I’m not doing very well at this subject...                                         

  L8R a friend told me that I could PROLLY find at the party of a M8 at the guy I like! That made ​​my day perfect! Tonight is the party and I’m very excited, I only wish he greets me. However the celebration isn´t now, so unfortunately I have to continue reading, I don´t when but I really need to get that book off! I hate reading... I ´ve join a new class, I started singing. At first I was very shy, but it was an easy job to relate with my new partners. Tomorrow I will go again, I love singing!

At the end it wasn´t a dull day, I have enjoy a lot!

Pollution in the Seas

          POLLUTION OF THE SEA LIFE

Pollution in the ocean is a major problem that is affecting not just the oceans or seas but the rest of the Earth too. This type of pollution seriously harms organisms and on an indirectly way human health and resources.

Oil spills, Toxic wastes, poisonous chemicals and dumping of other harmful materials are all terrible sources of pollution in oceans. In my opinion we should warm people and try to teach them more about this terrible reality as to know how to prevent this naked truth.

Toxic Wastes: are poisonous materials that are being dumped into the Oceans, and harm animals having a huge impact on them. These wastes reach this environment by leaking of landfills, dumps, mines and farms. Lead is a very powerful chemical that can cause serious problems in health like: the damage in brain, kidneys and on the reproductive system. Animal also consume this toxic chemicals and died minutes later.

Oil Pollution: Is the worst of all the toxic elements; the main cause of this is when big ships carry or leak oil in the ocean, reefs and other living species like  sharks, tunas, mackerels, jellyfish, sea turtles are affected.

“A Different History”

8^th July

 Dear Diary,

                       Today WAS a long day; I went with all my family to a celebration. We had to thank our God Sarasvati as ever, it was a new ritual for me because I price Sarasvati With a big SACRIFICE, I LOVED IT!                                                                                                                                   I really admire my culture and my religion! I love worshiping gods like Great Pan and to protect and take care for sacred things. Tomorrow, like every Monday, I will meet some friends that think like me and have my same aims. This is because I´m tired and angry of being change! Why? Because ALL my traditions are now disappeared, we lost our own identities that are the worst we suffer. I will, I must reveal myself!

The British Colonization took away my life and the unborn children would love their NEW culture and language as their own one. They must know about this issue, is serious. Their education and knowledge should about our culture, but in our country? We just have BIG culture confusion. We are not living as we all wish or dream, we just obey our conquerors!  This is total shame but as I said before: “I must reveal myself!”

I create this project with Tomas Busquets, it is about three types of Rocks we choose: they are Amtehyst, Corals and Mica. We used a new page called VUVOX it is a kind of video with images.
